Frank Sinatra attempted suicide two times over his troublesome love affair with Ava Gardner, according to a tell all book which hits bookstores this month.

The book, “Sinatra in Hollywood” claims that Sinatra cut his wrists in the New York apartment of Jimmy Van Huesen in 1953, which was the year that the couple initially split. The author, Tom Santopieto says that “Van Heusen’s unexpected return saved the singer from bleeding to death.”

He also reveals  “Sinatra’s first attempt at suicide had occurred a year earlier after yet another debilitating fight with Ava. He inhaled gas from the kitchen stove in a different friend’s apartment. The book also says Ava had two abortions while they were together - without consulting Frank, saying that a sane lifestyle necessary for raising children just wasn’t possible with him. ”

The two divorced in 1957.

Katt William, the comedian know for appearances on MTV’s “Wild ‘n Out” and BET’s “Comic View” was brought to a hospital in Sumter my local family members for a mental health evaluation for a possible mental hospital commitment.

Police say that officers responded to some suspicious behavior by Williams,35, at the Mount Vernon Inn on Friday morning. Williams was trying to check into a room at the motel while wearing only a bathrobe and towel wrapped around his head but the hotel employees called the police at around 8:30 a.m. due to his erratic behavior. Officers left after they determined no criminal activity was being committed.

After the encounter with the police, WIlliams then appeared at the office of attorney Garryl Deas at 9:00 a.m. The actor came to solicit the attorneys help but said he was not hired to represent WIlliams.

Williams told Deas that he felt the police were “attempting to violate his rights” revealed that there were people who thought he was missing because he failed to show up to his engagements. At 9:30 a.m. Deas then told Williams that he had to leave for a court appointment which then Williams said he would wait there for Deas to return.

Deas returned to his office at around 10:30 to find Williams still waiting for him but by this time his behavior had changed.

“His demeanor was a little troubled,” Deas said. He said the actor seemed “disoriented.”

Around that time family and friends of Williams arrived to try to take him to a hospital for mental evaluation but Williams did not want to listen.

“He just said that he doesn’t trust anyone anymore,” Deas said. He said he thought “everyone has turned against him. He wasn’t really coherent.”

Police were then called by the family to escort Williams to the hospital.

Wow, crazy stuff. He’s a funny dude, hope he’s alright.

Rob Corddry, the former correspondent from the Daily Show, welcomed a second child with his wife Sandra. When asked about the baby’s name a while back he said “My 2-year-old is pretty set on the name ‘Freeka,’ but “We may just go with ‘Baby the Entertainer’ in case she grows up to be a black comedian.”

They ended up settling on “Marlo Stevenson Corddry”. How boring Rob but congratulations anyway!

An “extreme fan” of Paula Abdul was found dead in front of Paula Abdul’s house this morning. It has been labeled as a suicide, possibly drug overdose. The car she was found in was registered to Paula Goodspeed, who was a fifth-season Idol auditioner.

“I am deeply shocked and saddened by what transpired yesterday,” Abdul reported to E! News. “My heart and prayers go out to her family.”

The girl is said to have had a history of mental illness.

The Mayor of Batman, Turkey saw the movie The Dark Knight, and though “wtf mate, they stole my name” SO now the smartest man in the Turkish town is thinks he can get away with suing Warner Brothers and Christopher Nolah, the director of The Dark Knight, for a big pile of money! The delusional Turk claims that Warner Brothers used the name of his city without permission and that the Bat flick is responsible for recent crimewaves of murders and suicides since the films premiere.

“There is only one Batman in the world,“ the furious politician declared. “The American producers used the name of our city without informing us.’

Did anyone tell him that there have been six previous Batman films in the past, dating all the way back to 1960? Or that the comic book debuted in 1939?

Sorry “Batman”, if your town sucks, it’s your own fault. If anything, Warner Brothers should sue you for tricking tourists to thinking you are anything as cool as Batman.
