Crazy Taxi crashes into 30 Rock
by Juicy on Nov.21, 2008, under Bizarre, Entertainment News

NBC’s “30 Rock” canceled shooting Wednesday after an out-of-control taxi smashed into their Log Island City set, almost striking a 9-year old boy.
Tina Fey was playing the victim of a child mugger when the boy was forced to dive out of the way of the out of control vehicle.
“Everyone was waiting to film when this cab came out of nowhere,” an extra told Page Six. “The street was very narrow and there was nowhere for anyone to run, so we all just stood and watched in disbelief as it hurtled down the street and smashed into another car.”
An NBC Universal spokesman confirmed, “Some actors were grazed by one of the cars involved. They were examined at a local hospital and released.”
John “Dancing Pig” Sergeant quits Strictly Dancing: BBC left to payback thousands to voters
by Juicy on Nov.19, 2008, under Entertainment News, Inside a Celebrity's Head

John Sergeant, who fans dubbed “the Dancing Pig”, quit the BBC show Strictly Dancing today.
The 64 year old contestant has been brutally commented on for his performances as the judges became increasingly frustrated that viewers kept voting to keep him in the competition despite receiving the lowest scores for weeks.
Judge Arlene bitched: “There is nothing that is correct about his performances, he is just getting through the dances. Everything is wrong - his posture, movement, hand position.
A spokesman for Ladbrokes said “To say we’re relieved is an understatement as he was shaping up to be our worst ever result in the show.”
John Sergeant commented on his decision, saying: “The trouble is that there is now a real danger that I might win the competition. Even for me that would be a joke too far.”
The BBC is now facing a plan to work on paying back thousands of dollars in phone calls of votes from viewers who voted for Sergeant.
Damn, I guess I won’t get to see the dancing pig after all.

Jennifer Aniston couldn’t deliver the fans on her guest appearance on 30 Rock last night. The episode was watched by a season low of only 7.5 million people.
They should get Angelina to guest star and blow the roof off of Aniston’s dismal turn out. Then Jen can have something to talk about in her next Vogue interview!

Looks like Britney Spears is planning to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Europe! That’s kinda like Christmas in Hawaii (Except they actually celebrate Christmas in Hawaii) but whatever!
Spears, returned home to Kentwood Louisiana on Friday with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James earlier this week. She is scheduled to perform on the French television show Star Academy (think like Big Brother meets American Idol) on Nov 28.

Oprah leaving her talk show throne?
by Juicy on Nov.08, 2008, under Celebrity News, Entertainment News, Inside a Celebrity's Head

Reports are coming out that Oprah is making plans to join forces with Discovery Communications to form the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). What’s going to happen to her talk show?
“One day the show has to end,” Oprah said on a conference call to announce the Discovery deal. “That may be in 2011 and it may be after 2011.” says the talk show queen.
Winfrey’s distribution contract for “The Oprah Winfrey Show” is due to expire May 2011 but she has an option to end the show as early as 2010.
“OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network” will be owned jointly by Winfrey’s Harpo Productions and Discovery and dedicated to inspiring viewers to “live their best lives,”
The OWN network will debut in 2009 on what is now the Discovery Health Channel. Winfrey will server as OWN’s chairman with full editorial control over it’s programming and branding. Harpo will be producing the shows for the network and other outlets.
Considering how much clout the big O has these days, if there is ever a title for “ruler of the earth”, they would probably call it “Oprah”

Beyoncé says she met with the representatives at DC Comic and Warner Bros to discuss the idea but it’s unclear if anyone will be able to deliver a Wonder Woman project anytime soon.

Britney and Madonna didn’t have time to make out before Justin came
by Juicy on Nov.07, 2008, under Celebrity News, Entertainment News, Inside a Celebrity's Head

Apparently Britney Spears and Justin TImberlake still aren’t on speaking terms…or even on “we can stand in the same room” terms.
At the Madonna concert at Dodger stadium, both Britney and Justin made guest appearances for duets but not at the same time! Britney came on stage with Madonna for her third song and then high tailed it out of there long before Timberlake appeared for his spot with Madonna.
I wonder if someone told them they were breathing the same air, would one of them stop breathing?
The show also started 3 hours late and half the stage wasn’t lit because of technical difficulties and the roof of Dodger Stadium slightly collapsing the other day. You know, little stuff.
