Robert Pattinson isn’t too insightful when it comes to his romantic relationships.

He tells Ellen on her show the other day, “I am [a relationship guy] but nobody seems to want to get in a relationship with me,” he says humbly amidst screaming audience members. “It’s strange.”

“People like screaming at me — and they like screaming at me in relationships,” he says. “But nobody wants to commit!”

Pattinson also revealed in an interview a couple weeks ago “I haven’t washed my hair in about six weeks,” said Pattinson. “It’s disgusting.”

It’s quite possible Robert that the two are related. You know, maybe?

Even with half of Southern California under wildfires over 250 Twilightfans have been camped out since yesterday in front of L.A.’s Mann Village Theater, the site of tonight’s world premiere of the movie.

Who the hell are these crazies?

Mallory Gelineau and Allison Hart, both 14-year-old high schoolers, suffered through a 14-hour road trip with their moms from their homes in Folsom, Calif. “It was one hectic ride,” Gelineau said. “It was originally only supposed to take us 6 or 7 hours to get here, but we tried avoiding the fires…It was bumper to bumper. It took about three hours to go 30 miles.”

Melanie Atkins, 49, and her daughter, Rose, 15, were the first in line. They arrived yesterday at 7 a.m. (um, that’s about 36 hours before the premiere even begins).  “We slept on the sidewalk in the freezing cold,” Melanie said.

Twilight is turning out to be the tween equivalent of Star Wars for geeks.

But it’s not just all tweeny boppers, there was even a group of seven women from TwilightMoms.com who popped a squat on the pavement. Saying they left their kids with the dads and made the pilgrimage down to the premiere.

Those must be some pissed off kids!

Robert Pattinson isn’t shy about his feelings for Kristen Stewart at all.

“She’s basically the reason I did the movie,” Robert explains. “When I got into the room with Kristen, there was just a certain chemistry. And she’s just very smart. She’s really the best actress of her generation.”

When he was asked if he thinks he’s taken Zac Efron’s crown as the top teen movie idol he says “I don’t think I quite have,” before adding, “yet”.

Twilight opens in theaters on Nov 21. If you value your safety at all or are just really scared of large groups of crazy tweens and high pitched screams, you might want to wait till after opening day.

The star of the high school vampire movie Twilight was at an Apple store in NY when a 7 year old girl came up to him for a photo. Harmless right?

“But then she went really quiet and she was like, ‘Can you bite me?’” Pattinson told me with a somewhat nervous laugh yesterday in a Beverly Wilshire Hotel room, where he’d been holed up doing press all weekend. “It wasn’t a joke…I looked at her and thought, ‘Do you know what you’re saying?’ There are these kinds of sexual thoughts that come out of people that they don’t even know are sexual.”

Those damn 7 year olds, they’re little cougars!
